I hadn't heard that yet. Damn. :pour I can't believe wrestlers don't learn from their history. Savage obliterated his knees doing a similar cage jump.

I will also say that I saw the black leaving AEW stuff all over my Twitter timeline the day of the pay-per-view. I didn’t give it much credence, but one thing I will say is I think AEW did kind of play off of those rumors because that’s what I think that whole house of Black might leave him...

Should’ve lost last night, but we’ll see where they go now.

Having Cope hold the TNT though definitely helps its value though.
  5. Kross Rhodes

AEW Double or Nothing - May 26, 2024

Glad it wasn’t just me. The name alone I feel also established it. TNT is a tv title and international basically means world.

As long as hangman returns in time, I think the biggest match story wise would be hangman and swerve.

AEW Double or Nothing - May 26, 2024

Even if they wanted to do the match in Wembley that could be done theoretically, but he shouldn’t beat Swerve for the title.

The one hill I’m gonna die on now though, is that with Will having the international title he doesn’t need to be anywhere near the world title scene for a little bit. He’s going to elevate that international title and make it the Belt like RVD used to do with the ECW TV.

And like, despite the fact that I would’ve preferred, Roddy, hold onto the belt there’s no way anyone can’t see that osprey having the belt is going to clearly make that about to mean more than it ever has before.

Cassidy clearly elevated that belt to the secondary position and they were so confident with that they let his reign end in the main event of arguably what they were considering their biggest event of the year all out to Jon Moxley, who is also arguably their leading guy, or was until MJF.

I’m glad we can just have some healthy debate here because I just got told on Twitter that because I think the international title is a bigger deal than TNT now that I clearly don’t watch the show.

This is some wild get up for the match they went through last night.

I do plan to re-watch several of the matches later to get a better appreciation for them and that’ll probably be one of the matches. For the record, though I do think that MJF segment was awesome. My only problem with it is it felt so disjointed from the match that had just taken place. I do...

Jay is just as awesome but he is a little subtler so juice probably is the most entertaining part for sure. He was sorely missed.
  16. Kross Rhodes

AEW Double or Nothing - May 26, 2024

@Canadian Dragon you see this yet? Pac and the rest of the world underestimated that juice was rock hard on his couch!

Don’t forget about the juice being loose!
  19. Kross Rhodes

AEW Double or Nothing - May 26, 2024

But yeah, to put a bowtie on it, I was definitely bummed out that Roddy lost the belt, but that wasn’t my primary issue today. It was the suggestion or assumption that Adam Cole’s beatdown yesterday was going to be the only thing that they were going to do with them and MJF. If you’re under the...

Me too, buddy. Not immediately, though. Swerve is killing it.
